Saudi Arabia 1-1 Trinidad and Tobago (Group D)
Trinidad and Tobago started off high with an early lead with Sealy scoring at the 10 minute mark. However Saudi Arabia kept up the pressure through out the game, scoring an equalizer in the second half to draw the game.
USA 2-1 Haiti (Group D)
USA took early lead (M. Tillman 10′) which was soon equalized by Haiti (L. Don 19′). The American team finally scored the winner with a 75′ goal by P. Agyemang after lightly dominating the game.
Mexico 0-0 Costa Rica (Group A)
Mexico dominated the game against Costa Rica but failed to score a clean goal. The draw was dramatized by a late 94 minute attempt by the Mexican side led Santiago Gimenez. But the goal was ruled out by VAR eventually to end the match in a draw.
Dominican Republic 0-0 Suriname (Group A)
A relatively even game as compared to the other matches of the day, with both sides failing to score a winner or otherwise. Surimane kept the DR side on toes due to a 30′ red card leaving them a man down.
