🇨🇷 Costa Rica 2–1 Dominican Republic (Group A)
Costa Rica came from behind to defeat the Dominican Republic in a tightly contested match. After conceding early, they equalized just before halftime with a penalty converted by Manfred Ugalde. Josimar Alcócer then delivered the winning goal in the closing minutes. Like Mexico, Costa Rica now advances to the next round with six points.
🇲🇽 Mexico 2–0 Suriname (Group A)
Mexico secured their second win of the tournament with a convincing 2–0 victory over Suriname. Both goals came from central defender César Montes, who scored twice in the second half, capitalizing on set-piece opportunities. With this win, Mexico confirmed their place in the quarterfinals with a perfect record so far.
🇺🇸 United States 1–0 Saudi Arabia (Group D)
The U.S. Men’s National Team edged out Saudi Arabia in a hard-fought 1–0 win. Defender Chris Richards was instrumental on both ends of the pitch—first making a key defensive block, then scoring the game’s only goal in the second half from a well-placed set piece. The victory guarantees the U.S. a spot in the quarterfinals and nearly assures them first place in Group D.
🇯🇲 Jamaica 2-1 Guadeloupe (Group C)
Jamaica bounced back following their initial loss to Guatemala. They defeated Guadeloupe, with Leon Bailey standing out as a key performer in that victory.
🇬🇹 Guatemala 0-1 Panama (Group C)
Panama edged past Guatemala with a late goal, each side sharing the spotlight in Group C.
ðŸ‡ðŸ‡¹ Haiti 1-1 Trinidad & Tobago (Group D)
Haiti ended their Matchday 2 with a 1–1 draw against Trinidad & Tobago. Despite playing with ten men, Haiti dominated large parts of the match, although a missed late penalty cost them a full three points. Both teams remain in the mix, but trail the U.S. in Group D.
Canada 1-1 Curaçao (Group B)
Canada started with an early goal before the 10 minute mark and held on to the lead till the 90 minute mark but a gut clinching late equalizer in the extra time from Jeremy Antonisse resulted in a tie. Canada still leads the table in Group B
Honduras 2-0 El Salvador (Group B)
In another nerve wrenching match where El Salvador otherwise dominated the game but failed to score against Honduras. The winners made exception use of the chances they created and scored a goal in each half of the game to end up on top. The game improves the chances of Honduras to make it to the next round, while El Salvador is clearly out of the race.
